FAQ part 2, in answer to Ubik's questions.

New questions for the FAQ; thanks Ubik, it's so much easier to write answers than to organize a rule post.

1) I am now a follower of the blog. Do I need to do something else? Btw, I don't yet see the Sandon blog in my "Dashboard"; is there any further thing I should do?

Starting to follow is good. My guess is that your dashboard is just being slow.

2) How do I post my character's description? I understand that I should scroll the webpage and paste the description text in the "Application Form". Is that correct?

No - that was the application process for sub/victim players. Anyway the whole process has been suspended; I'm giving invitation on a case by case basis. In other words it's now a "just ask" process. Make a post tagged Character and that is it.

3) I see that each post has a code. I mean, post  e.g. "S009: My skype sessions" has code "S009". Where do I find the instructions on how to put codes in my posts? Also, how do I post? (or I have to wait first so that the Sandon blog appears on my dashboard?)

To post, one needs to be an author. Approved applications will get the invitation in their email. Then you should choose a code for yourself - one or two letter, not already taken.

4) Also how do members communicate OOC, e.g. in order to arrange in-world meetings? I suppose they use email, through the email address you fill in with the application (?) But how do I send an email to another character or vice-versa?

Not really. I have a plans for a matchmaking tool but it's still just an idea. As for now, we use both SL friendship and the Satin Circle group. I invite players to friend each other.

5) Do in-world meetings have to be transcribed and posted as well? (e.g. after editing the transcriptions).

Nothing "has" to be posted. Players post at their discretion. Just post what you think may be interesting for the other to see; the rest can be just alluded to, in the diaries ("Ah, today I killed the Principal.")

Sandon 2.0 - FAQ

• * Is the diary an imaginary one? Can i don't write for 5 days, then write 5 days equivalent in one go?
  
  yes, you can, but we invite you to think of the diary every RL day. It would help a lot with the character.
  
  
  
• * Sub application in pairs - how would that work? I have to find someone else to apply with me?
  
  you can - or you can wait until we find you company.
  
  
• * Do I have to be online everyday to participate?
  
  No. In fact this style of play is meant exactly for those people who love involved RP but who have only a limited amount of online time. But you must arrange at least a play for week - so use your time wisely.
  
  
• Venturi Muromachi: V.Muromachi is a character-type I've used for many years in a few sorts of roleplays that always had a strong D/s aspect within them, usually private. So she's very well developed and knows what she wants. She is not typically a rapist but more of a seducer. I don't know if that would necessarily fit within your theme, since the scenes tend to be more assaults. Perhaps a strong domme flavor is not something your theme? Please let me know what you think.
  
  Federico Perenti: The scenes are from a previous version of the story. This time I want to have less assaults and more of a character development; assaults tend to be self-consuming scenes. I'm not saying there will be no assaults, but a character like yours fits perfectly in my opinion. Of course, OOC you should check with the sub players if they want to go in one direction or the other.
